Jigsaw Linocut - Introducing Colour

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with a little printmaking experience.​For those that have done our popular beginners lino cut workshop, we are introducing this intermediate workshop where we will look at methods of creating experimental and dynamic repeat prints using the jigsaw method of multi block lino cut.

Introduction to Tetra Pak Printmaking

We will explore the endless possibilities of Tetra Pak, an everyday material used for milk and juice cartons, which invites the use of both relief and intaglio techniques in a fun and simple but very effective way.

Experimental Monotype

The nature of monoprinting means that there is a lot of experimenting and happy accidents. The workshop is perfect for loosening up our creative brains and producing art through experiment and play. Most of the prints achieved will be rather more abstract than those made in more formal workshops such as linocut etc.

Block Printing on Fabric
Saturday 5th April 2025 10am - 3pm

In the morning we will design, transfer and cut a simple lino block and in the afternoon we will ink and print up a fabric tote bag or tea-towel with fabric ink.
